Reach One Educational Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Austin, Texas. The foundation was established on August 15, 2018 by Alpha Kappa Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

The foundation was formed for charitable and educational purposes to enhance educational opportunities for youths by…

• Awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will attend colleges and universities
• Providing programs and activities that empower all communities
• Conducting and participating in seminars and workshops
• Preparing youth for future opportunities and experiences through educational programs and activities that encourages staying in school
• Teaching financial awareness
• Encouraging avoidance of negative behavior among youth such as drugs, drinking, gangs and bullying

One of our goals is to promote educational attainment for our youth. Every two years, our chapter hosts a debutante ball to fulfill the mission of service to the community through college scholarships for young ladies and to support pursuit of higher education.

Thus, for more than sixty years, our Biennial Debutante Ball has generated scholarship funds to help support the debutantes’ college education and to help other students reach their educational goals. Our chapter has contributed over $100,000 in scholarships to local female college students.

We know that we cannot accomplish our goals alone; therefore, we invite you to support us by making a contribution to our scholarship fund.
