Our first Debutante Ball was held in December of 1947, and the Biennial Debutante Ball is inarguably the premier event for high school junior through first-year college females in the Metro Austin area. The gala is the culmination of an array of social, cultural, educational and service-related activities in which the young ladies participate. For more than sixty years, these activities positively reinforce critical self-esteem principles to last a lifetime and provide bonding experiences for the participants.

Our Debutante Ball generates scholarship funds to help support the debutantes’ college education. Our chapter has contributed over $100K in scholarships to local female college students, as well as financially supported other local students to reach their educational goals.
